PSD venceu, também, para a Assembleia Municipal. Os sociais-democratas receberam 52,96% (4,176 votos). Terá 12 mandatos. O cabeça de lista é Alberto Vilas.
O PS teve 34,70% ( 2,736 votos). Terá 8 mandatos. O PCP-PEV tem, também, 1 mandato relativo aos 4,79% (378 votos).
